One important note that I will share for this post is that I recently sold my Eurycotis lixa and will be shipping them out tomorrow. One reason that factored into my decision to sell them is that I have began to lose interest in them lately, but the main reason I decided to sell them was because they are virtually non-handleable. I can safely say that they're a bad species for handling due to the nymphs' very skittish nature, their lighting quick bursts of speed, and the biting. They're much easier to handle as adults, but you can still be sure to get some skin gnawed off your finger!LOL However, in the process of selling them I began to feel rather fond of this species again(ironic right?), and I still have three oothecae from my females, so this likely won't be the end of me keeping this rare species!
But enough with that, I hope that you guys enjoyed the nearly one hundred fifty pictures I stuffed into this truly massive post, it took many long hours of snapping pics of some uncooperative inverts, but I'd say the end result was worth it!
I'm looking forward to constructing the last three posts in this photo series, and I hope you guys are looking forward to the new post as well, until next time, sianara! :)
